When my wife told me about this recipe that a friend had taught her, I really wanted to try it, so I went to the market to buy the ingredients to make these chicken drumsticks and drumsticks in creamy parmesan and spinach sauce.

  • 200 g Fresh spinach
  • 50 g  Parmesan
  • 100 ml Liquid cream for cooking
  • 150 ml Chicken soup
  • Spices to taste (hot paprika, salt, pepper)
  • Extra virgin olive oil

How to Make Chicken in Creamy Parmesan and Spinach Sauce

We start by seasoning the thighs and counter thighs well with the spices. I recommend using salt and pepper and adding a touch of hot paprika. Keep in mind that the sauce has cream so the flavors will be very softened so do not be afraid. If you want, you can also add aromatic herbs powder, garam massala or any mixture of your choice.

In a frying pan, fry the chicken slices so that they brown well on all sides, leaving them for a few minutes. We remove the chicken and reserve it. Meanwhile, we start with the sauce, for which we brown a clove of garlic in the oil to fry the chicken, add the liquid cream, the chicken broth, the grated cheese and a tablespoon of ground thyme, mixing well.

If you want you can also add a teaspoon of curry spices, as I said before, which will also give a little color. We fill the pan with the spinach and we move them until they lose their volume. Reintegrate the chicken slices to the pan and transfer them to the oven.

We cook at 200º for 15 minutes, turning the pieces and leaving them to cook for another 10 minutes. Finally, we gratinate two or three minutes at 230º to brown the outside a little more and serve immediately.
